- UBUNTU INSTALLATION
Ubuntu (pronounced u-BOON-too) is an open source Debian-based Linux distribution. Sponsored by Canonical Ltd., Ubuntu is considered a good distribution for beginners. The operating system was intended primarily for personal computers (PCs) but it can also be used on servers. The word "Ubuntu" is from the African Zulu language and translates as "humanity to others."
, Linux is an operating system. An operating system is software that manages all of the hardware resources associated with your desktop or laptop. To put it simply – the operating system manages the communication between your software and your hardware.
Linux operating system for personal computers, tablets and smartphones, where Ubuntu Touch edition is used; and also runs network servers, usually with the Ubuntu Server edition, either on physical or virtual servers (such as on mainframes) and/or with containers, that is with enterprise-class features; runs on the most popular architectures, including server-class ARM-based.

INSTALL OFFICE PACKAGE
Microsoft Office 2007 (code named Office 12) is a version of Microsoft
Office, a family of office suites
and productivity software for Windows,
developed and published by Microsoft. It was released to manufacturing on November 3,
2006; it was subsequently made available to volume
license customers on November 30, 2006, and later to retail on January 30, 2007the same
respective release dates of Windows Vista.
It was preceded by Office 2003 and succeeded by Office 2010.
Office 2007 introduced a new graphical user interface called the Fluent User Interface, which uses ribbons and an Office menu instead of menu bars and toolbars. Office 2007 also introduced Office Open XML file formats as the default file formats in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. The new formats are intended to facilitate the sharing of information between programs, improve security, reduce the size of documents, and enable new recovery scenarios.

HOW TO INSTALL WINDOW 7
Windows 7 is the Microsoft Windows operating system released commercially in October 2009. In development, Windows 7 was known by the code names "Black comb" and "Vienna."
Windows 7 is built on the Vista kernel.
To many end users the biggest changes between Vista and Windows 7 are faster boot times, new user interfaces and the addition of Internet Explorer 8
. The OS is widely available in three retail editions: Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional and Ultimate. Starter, OEM and Enterprise editions are available in some markets.
is a personal computer operating system developed by Microsoft. It is a part of the Windows NT family of operating systems.
Windows 7 was released to manufacturing on July 22, 2009, and became generally available on October 22, 2009, less than three years after the release of its predecessor,
Windows Vista. Windows 7's server counterpart, Windows Server 2008 R2, was released at the same time.

SPREAD SHEETS
Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet developed
by Microsoft for Windows, mac OS, Android and i OS. It features
calculation, graphing tools, pivot tables, and a macro programming language called Visual
Basic for Applications. It has been a very widely applied spreadsheet
for these platforms, especially since version 5 in 1993, and it has replaced Lotus 1-2-3 as
the industry standard for spreadsheets.

INTERNET AND WORLD WIDE WEB...
HISTORY OF INTERNET
The Internet started in the 1960s as a way for government researchers to share information. Computers in the '60s were large and immobile and in order to make use of information stored in any one computer, one had to either travel to the site of the computer or have magnetic computer tapes sent through the conventional postal system.

Computers in the '60s were large and immobile and in order to make use of information stored in any one computer, one had to either travel to the site of the computer or have magnetic computer tapes sent through the conventional postal system.
Another catalyst in the formation of the Internet was the heating up of the Cold War. The Soviet Union's launch of the Sputnik satellite spurred the U.S. Defense Department to consider ways information could still be disseminated even after a nuclear attack. This eventually led to the formation of the ARPANET (Advanced Research Projects Agency Network), the network that ultimately evolved into what we now know as the Internet. ARPANET was a great success but membership was limited to certain academic and research organizations who had contracts with the Defense Department. In response to this, other networks were created to provide information sharing.
January 1, 1983 is considered the official birthday of the Internet. Prior to this, the various computer networks did not have a standard way to communicate with each other. A new communications protocol was established called Transfer Control Protocol/Internetwork Protocol (TCP/IP). This allowed different kinds of computers on different networks to "talk" to each other. ARPANET and the Defense Data Network officially changed to the TCP/IP standard on January 1, 1983, hence the birth of the Internet. All networks could now be connected by a universal language.....

COMPUTER BASIC
what is a computer
A computer is an electronic device, operating under the control of instructions (software) stored in its own memory unit, that can accept data (input), manipulate data (process), and produce information (output) from the processing.
Generally, the term is used to describe a collection of devices that function together as a system.
TYPES OF COMPUTER
Personal computer:
It can be defined as a small, relatively inexpensive computer designed for an individual user. In price, personal computers range anywhere from a few hundred pounds to over five thousand pounds. All are based on the microprocessor technology that enables manufacturers to put an entire CPU on one chip. Businesses use personal computers for word processing, accounting, desktop publishing, and for running spreadsheet and database management applications.
Supercomputer.
Supercomputer is a broad term for one of the fastest computers currently available. Supercomputers are very expensive and are employed for specialized applications that require immense amounts of mathematical calculations (number crunching). For example, weather forecasting requires a supercomputer. Other uses of supercomputers scientific simulations, (animated) graphics, fluid dynamic calculations, nuclear energy research, electronic design, and analysis of geological data (e.g. in petrochemical prospecting).
Minicomputer
It is a midsize computer. In the past decade, the distinction between large minicomputers and small mainframes has blurred, however, as has the distinction between small minicomputers and workstations. But in general, a minicomputer is a multiprocessing system capable of supporting from up to 200 users simultaneously.
Mainframe
Supercomputer is a broad term for one of the fastest computers currently available. Supercomputers are very expensive and are employed for specialized applications that require immense amounts of mathematical calculations (number crunching). For example, weather forecasting requires a supercomputer. Other uses of supercomputers scientific simulations, (animated) graphics, fluid dynamic calculations, nuclear energy research, electronic design, and analysis of geological data (e.g. in petrochemical prospecting). A set of instructions given to the computer to solve a problem is called Software.........
